EuroSlavic® in Unicode™ provides professional-quality, Unicode-encoded fonts in TrueType® OpenType® format for typing all Western and Central European Latin-based languages, plus many other languages. The fonts include all standard diacritics used in these languages. Because the EuroSlavic in Unicode fonts include separate composite forms of each vowel with each diacritic combination, every letter shape and diacritic is perfectly positioned. Because the fonts are Unicode-encoded they are interchangeable with other Unicode fonts that support these languages.

Font Samples
A single font sample is shown below for each font. Links to additional font samples will open in a new browser window and will give you a greater appreciation for the beauty and variety of these fonts. These additional samples will show you the complete character set. The samples are on separate pages because the graphics are quite large and will open slowly if you have a slow dial-up connection. Note that these samples are low-resolution web samples (graphics). The actual fonts will always print to the highest quality your printer is capable of producing and will be consistently beautiful.

EuroSlavic in Unicode for Windows
EuroSlavic in Unicode for Windows includes two keyboard layouts that provide four-characters-per-key input in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP. The first keyboard layout takes advantage of the OpenType layout features built into the fonts for the most logical, intuitive input possible. Input order is letter, accent, accent. The letter with its associated diacritics is built up automatically as you type, with all diacritics perfectly spaced. This keyboard layout requires Microsoft Word 2013/2010/2007/2003, Adobe InDesign CS4, QuarkXPress 8.02, OpenOffice 3.2, or LibreOffice 3.3. The second keyboard layout works with any Unicode-compatible application and uses deadkey input to type letters with their associated diacritics. The user first types the key representing the deadkey (or the accent) and nothing appears to happen on screen. Then the user types the letter and the accented letter appears in the document.
Windows System Requirements:
Operating Systems
- Requires Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, or XP.
Applications
Requires any Unicode-compatible application, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress 7, OpenOffice 3, or LibreOffice.
Microsoft Word 2013/2010/2007/2003, InDesign CS4, QuarkXPress 8.02, OpenOffice 3.2, or LibreOffice 3.3 is required to use the included EuroSlavicLSU OT (OpenType) keyboard layout for the most intuitive input order (letter-accent-accent). Users of any other Unicode-compatible application will use the EuroSlavicLSU DK (dead key) keyboard layout, which provides dead key input (accent-letter). Both keyboard layouts provide full access to all letters and diacritics in the fonts; they differ only in input method.
Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 (and earlier) is not compatible with EuroSlavic in Unicode for Windows. All text is changed to the Arial font, whether typed with the keyboard, input using Insert Symbol, or pasted from Word using the Windows clipboard. PowerPoint users should type their text in Word or another Unicode-compatible application, and save the text as a graphic for import into PowerPoint. Users can also use WordArt to create their text. To do this in PowerPoint go to Insert, Picture, WordArt, and type your text, formatting it as desired. Alternatively, users can type directly into PowerPoint using our non-Unicode EuroSlavic fonts. (Earlier versions of PowerPoint have not been tested for compatibility.)

EuroSlavic: The non-Unicode EuroSlavic fonts are not interchangeable with EuroSlavic in Unicode. "Thank you for all your help with the Turkish fonts, patient and kind technical support. I appreciate your excellent products and always prompt service and never take them for granted. It is a pleasure doing business with you. My gratitude is heartfelt and sincere. I wish all business communications and transactions were as pleasant, smooth, and stress-free as with the Linguist's Software staff -- especially in this complex and dizzying computer and software era we live in, where business systems are also increasingly becoming automated and dehumanized. Here you have real programmers, technical support experts actually answering your call and all your questions, helping you out like angels. And the Linguist's Software products I have bought from you over the years always speak for themselves. Thank you again for simplifying my life and making it so much easier. God bless you."

"I want to compliment Linguist's Software on its Installation Manual and User's Manual. They are by far the best written and the easiest to understand of any software manuals I've seen in over 10 years."
